With the AGM now behind us, and it being September, we are well into the new year, which means that subs are now due. The committee has worked out a Family subscription that will have to go through a formal process of adoption.

I'd also like to keep plugging the South Island Wargaming Forums - link in the menu towards the top of the page. There are specific areas for OMTS in the Committee Announcements and Game Organisation forums, and are open to anybody to read, but you have to sign up to post. It is a great way to organise games and connect with other people in the hobby.
Grant McKenna is starting up a Warhammer 40K campaign, here is a message from him:
"Hi- the rules for the Warhammer 40,000 campaign are up here and there is also a blog. The campaign is not a winner/loser one but rather a fluff based storyline campaign. I'll be at the next club meeting [the 6th of September] to talk about the campaign. I can be mailed on grant @ geek or grant @ home."
